Saint-Brieuc Agglomeration (Brittany, France) launches an International Festival of Photojournalism, which aim is to produce and support photographers’ personal and unpublished projects. Unique in France and even worldwide, the event will take place in Saint-Brieuc urban district, that includes 14 cities, in October 2012. Alexandre Solacolu, director and initiator of the festival, asked Didier Rapaud, former PARIS MATCH photo editor and former director of GAMMA agency, to bring his experience, in order to follow the photographers during their field work and provide them the support they need. Facing the crisis that strikes the profession, the festival supports the production of stories, through the funding of several projects that will be selected in December 2011. We invite all professional photographers to respond to this call for projects, by submitting their story proposals (there is no specific theme). The selection will be done by a jury based on projects’ originality, and will be exhibited in historical and unusual places of Saint-Brieuc district.
